If you are brand new to yoga, or you are a little rusty and want a to get back into it, then this series will get you on the right path. The intention of this course is to provide you the foundations for a healthy and confident journey into yoga. Students will have the opportunity to learn basic poses, how to breath in a yoga pose, how to modify poses to suit their body and how to transition safely in and out of poses all in a relaxed environment. Each class is 45 minutes and geared to beginners of any body type. The first class is an experiential overview of foundational yoga practices. Each subsequent class emphasizes a specific style of posture for you to expand your knowledge and experience. We suggest practicing consistently, at either the same time of day or the same day of the week to help establish your new healthy habit.
