Our karma peep of the month is Dawn Tait. We’re so thankful to have Dawn’s support at Breathe. She is dependable, cheerful, and a great fit to our staff! She brings her friendliness and motherly care to the studio for every shift on the karma team. Here is more about Dawn…
How did you start practicing at Breathe?
Ann Williams invited invited me to practice at Breathe. I started with the intro to yoga class.
What was it about Breathe that made you want to join the karma crew?
I needed regular yoga in my life after being a stay at home mom for 2 years. Joining the Karma Crew gave me the chance to meet new people, have some adult conversation, go to yoga on a regular basis and be a part of a place I believe in.
What is your favorite class/style offered at Breathe?
I love a good flow class and the restorative classes are great for forcing me to slow down.
In what way does your yoga practice most impact your daily life?
Every time I come home from yoga my kids, age 6yrs and 2.5yrs ask what I did in yoga so I do a mini flow and they follow along. I am also less frazzled by daily annoyances.
What is a fun fact about you that not many people know?
In 2001 I marched in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade with the Montana State University marching band. I was part of the flag line.
Tell us something about peeping at Breathe.
I look forward seeing the regulars in each class and talking to the people who are brand new to yoga.
Also, thanks to Breathe and all the amazing teachers and fellow yogis I always carry yoga around with me in me in my heart.
